3rd Gen body parts available (used)

I am in need of a middle left side fairing for my '93!!!!!!!

Saying that, I'm cheap. There are two places that have this part used and other body parts for 1990-1993 VFR 750's if anyone is interested but the prices are crazy high!!!!!!!

The first place is Stockers Motorcycle Parts and Salvage
$250 for a used scratched up piece

The second is Oz Powersports, The Midwest's Largest Motorcycle Salvage, ATV Salvage and Superstore
$325 for a used peice.

Niether place even offered to send a picture and shipping was not discussed.

Just passing the info along if anyone is interested.

 

Service Honda says OEM is discontinued. Was $352.

Found a old rashed and broken peice for $60 shipped to me in NC form Cali. I'll take it. I'm learning how to paint and work plastic with this rebuild.

Your gonna be nice this time? Okay, thanks. I'm not sure what relavence your post has on finding bodywork or me posting the fairings I did find and the prices that were bieng asked for them. I was just passing along info. that others might find useful.

 

The first step in realizing that you have a problem is realizing that you have one. So, by coming to grips that I am an agent provacator, I am hence trying to move on. Its all gud yah know...keep that gen 3 bike on the road! Anyone can post too, btw ; )

hey smack, im in san diego and have dealt with STOCKERS and read local reviews about them and just be careful. They have been known for sending the wrong parts and then having bad attitude about it (like its your fault). I pensonnally went there to buy a used pipe for $75 and when i got there it changed to $125! Im not saying not to buy from them, just be careful and get plenty of pics and info. I think Ebay is your best bet.

 

Thanks for the info.!!! I wasn't going to shell out that kind of money for a part I couldn't even see first. I got lucky and found a guy in San Fran on craigslist selling 3rd gen bodywork. He was kind enough to send me a bunch of pics and ship the part I needed for less than $100. I got lucky for sure.

 

I have a 1995 with a lot of cracking around the mounting bolts for the side plastic - from the back of the tank to the tail section.
Does anyone have suggestions on replacement parts or reliable repairs? my bike has 20K miles on it, but had been tipped off it's kickstand before I bought it.
I am also looking for passenger handles, as my bike is missing them.
