3rd Gen / 4th Gen Camshaft (are they the same)

I was doing a valve job today and broke my front intake camshaft. I had put three of the four camshafts back in with no issues, was working on the fourth when it snapped. The teeth on the backlash part of the gear didn't mesh right and were holding things up. I didn't realize it and was still torquing when it snapped. I hadn't even got the bolts remotely snugged down yet. Does anyone know if a 4th gen intake camshaft is the same? Also if anyone has a 3rd Gen or 4th Gen camshaft that they'd part with please let me know.
