So, I am up in Fort Collins attending Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and we are coming up on our Spring Break, 3/14-3/22. I have two mid-terms today and then 2 classes on Friday before I am free to raise hell :bluesbros: for the next 9 days. Was seeing if any Front Range Viffers would want to meet up at some point and enjoy the somewhat nice weather we are having for a ride, beer, fishing, or the sort. Poudre Canyon is mostly clear of debris, some gravel and sand toward the center and edge lines, so a ride to Walden/Steamboat is not out of the question; Carter Lake and Hwy 34 to Estes is always looking decent.

If you're interested reply here or send a PM and we will work something out.

I have not been up north much, so my goal is to check out the Poudre Canyon and Ft Collins to Steamboat Springs route sometime later this season.
I will be going for a short/easy ride this Sunday, but we're meeting in Denver!

I'll probably be doing a Deckers ride on Sunday.

How was Deckers, if you ended up going?

I ended up heading north and going around Carter Lake, through Masonville, across Horsetooth and then up to Red Feathers Lake. The roads were in great condition with the exception of Stove Prairie Road and down Buckhorn Road. They have opened up Buckhorn all the way down in to Loveland, but there is a stretch of dirt that is around 2 miles long and then stretches by the bridges that are also dirt. Some debris on the uphill of Stove Prairie and on the summit of Rist Canyon Road.

Was thinking about getting out on Saturday was well since it is suppose to be nice again.

Deckers is still a bit dirty from HP hill to Deckers, but not bad everywhere else. Glad to hear that Buckhorn is finally back open. I hope you made it out on Sunday and Monday with those record highs! Monday was just about perfect with very little traffic. I did try Squaw Pass on Monday, but it's still not quite "motorcycle ready"....plenty of sand and large areas of water runoff. I believe P2P is generally clean from Blackhawk all the way to 7, although Ward did get a bit of snow this morning so they might have put down some new sand.

Looks like good riding ahead this weekend. Might have to sneak away for a short ride.

Should be a good weekend; Not sure were the road will take me Saturday though. The girlfriend is taking her MSF course this weekend, so she will be out riding next week albeit, not on a VFR, but a Yamaha V-Star650 so we will have to go out on a congratulatory ride to somewhere fun. I will have to work her up to the VFR, so then I can get a new one... :VFR1200F::cool-new::eagerness:
