OK, just thinking out loud here. I notice when I ride my 5th gen, it has a lot more buzzyness/vibes than my old 2nd gen. Probably why the newer bike has rubber over the pegs and the old ones are bare alum. Also, it seems the 2nd gen is the better bike aerodynamically. The wind seems alot more turbulent on my 5th gen at high speeds. Don't get me wrong, I prefer riding the newer one. Just thought I'd share my thoughts on the two.
