Ok so i seem to be having too many issues now with this bike lol. Ok so i changed my forks and lower stem because of an accident. Put everything back together. Had an issue where the choke cable was getting pulled by the forks when i right turn but fixed that. But now im having issues with the braking system. I did not crack any lines to let air in. There was some movement of the lines and stuff when i moved around the calipers. I did not press the brake lever or foot pedal when the calipers were off. Now my issue is that my secondary master cylinder dosent depress on its own. Before it completely locked up my rear brake and my wheel was stuck. But then i looked into the owners manual and saw u could pivot the caliper. I over torqed the bolts so i cracked it open and it depressed and the bike felt great again. Then i torqed them to spec and it still felt great. It is ok under normal breaking but when u move forward and brake hard it wont go back to normal position and the brake (i think rear brake) will not open and will be hard to walk forward. But when i walk it back wards and lightly press the brake lever (hand one) a couple of times it will open up a little and i can walk it easy. It never used to do this. No matter how hard i pressed it it would always open up right after. What do u think it could be?
I haven't had this happen (and it won't happen now because I de-linked my brakes!) but I recall reading that the SMC gets crud in it and can't release fluid pressure after application.
