2nd gen VFR fender on CBR F2 forks for my 1st gen VFR?

    Hello,

    I'm getting what I need to update the suspension on my 1987 VFR700. For the forks I'm using a set of CBR F2s...But I don't care for the factory F2 fender. I know the 90-93 VFRs had the same wheel and the same fork diameter as the CBRs of the same vintage-but had a better looking fender. Will this fender work on the F2 lowers? Are the mounting points and spacing from the triple-tree the same?

    Sometimes a reshaping with the dremel will fix the uglies.
