Man O man was it great, Got a chance yesterday to be one of the first out on Hwy 25. For those that don't know it by that name, it's the twisty SOB that wraps up behind Mt. St Helens. I also went down Curly Creek and Wind River Rd. but due in part it's way to much fun to stop for photos I didn't. thou there is some taken last year in my photos
but here's what I did get time to take. enjoy...

I miss the Pacific NW. The are some sweet roads in B.C., Oregon, and Idaho as well. I tend to return to that area when I retire from the AF in a year or so. Thanks for sharing those pics.

It must be nice to ride on the weekdays, no traffic, fewer cops, if I sound jealous it is because I am, but great information on the roads, most likely be on the same ride Saturday...

Yes it was, ya have to do what ya have to do when you can I say, Damn that was fun... funny I almost jumped on the offer to do it again with you dudes. but this time head out to windy ridge. Play it smart, road still has areas that are still dirty from the snow melt which I'm pretty sure will still be there on Saturday..

Oh so easy you forgot Wind River dids ya.. ;) yea 53 is way nice. wish it was closer, same goes for Wind river but guess it's worth the trip. Wind river has way better asphalt and way less traffic. even thou the tight stuff is only 6 miles long, oh what a 6 miles...

Yeah, that's when I get a lot of my riding in because of my strange schedule...

I can't wait to get up there to ride with you guys. I've been wanting to for a year now. I am building up my backside by progressively riding longer. I'm hopinh that I can get up there at the end of the summer. What is your weather like around August? After the kids go back to their mother's then I'll have a chance. I know I know you guys think I'm just blowin smoke, but I really want to make this happen. I know you'll be ready so let's see if I can get off my ass and do it...

I'll meet you in Northern Ca. to do a little Hwy 3 & Hwy 36, and then we'll take in some of Oregon's finest twisty in on the way to Wa. , you wouldn't have to pay for room and board while in Washington which I know appeals to you, so just let me know what week in August, now make it happen...

Yes you are right, I did forget how fun that stretch was, even the road to Cougar was a blast, everything on the VFR is so much better with decent suspension...

Did Curly Creek as well as Cougar, That makes 900 miles in the last two weekends, making up for time for those PNW winters...
