2012 motorcycle show

I went to the 2012 novi motorcycle show on 1-7-12 I wanted to see the 2012 vfr 1200, and they only had the 2010 vfr, so I talked to a salesman or honda rep and he was not up on the information about the vfr or model year. he thought the red one was a 2012 model.so I did not push the issue with him.I asked him when the 2012 's were coming out. and needless to say he did not know. I also wanted to know but did not ask what the incentives are now and if they have changed . The previous incentives were supposed to end at the end of December.($2500 rebate and 2.99%,3.99%,and 4.99% interest rates for 3,4,and 5 year terms respectivly. It was neat seeing all the bikes that are at the show and being able to sit on and check them out in person all under one roof. I must say how well the vfr is made,and how much attention to detail honda has done on this bike.For example people have complained about the muffler and its looks,Honda has done a wonderful job on this piece. The motorcycle manufactures have a battle to make a reasonable looking muffler and stay within regulations concerning noise and emissions,so many of the manufacturers put the ugliest mufflers that look like rolled sheet metal tubes that look like a first semester 9th grade metal shop student could have done a better job with. Archaic rolled bazookas, then you go back and look at the vfr's with its high polis and unique shape with its nice well made exhaust openings ,and then you realize this is just one of many very nice well thought out items. Nicely done honda.
