    Hi everyone.

Figured this would be a good site to belong to as I have just ordered a new 2010 VFR. My dealer says it should be in sometime in April.

I have been riding for 35+ years and have owned numerous motorcycles some of which include

    1973 CB350
    1974 CB750
    1980 CB750F
    1993 VFR750
    1998 VTR1000
    2003 ST1300
    2001 Ducati ST4
2007 HD Road King (what was I thinking?)
    2009 CBF1000

Seeing the first pictures of the new VFR threw me a bit as from some of the angles it looked shall I say a bit odd. However I have been searching for the perfect bike for sport touring and I did so love my first VFR. Anyway I took the plunge and will receive the first one my dealer here gets. Can't wait

Paul, first off welcome to the site! You picked a good one.

Congrats on the order - looking forward to seeing some pics!

I like the Road King, but it sure sticks out amongst the other bikes you have/had -- do you currently have any of them anymore?

The Road King was an experiment when I thought I was as old as my age says I am. Nice enough bike but not for me as we do at least a couple of guy trips down to West Virginia each year and when I couldn't stay with a friends 1978 CB750 I knew it had to go. I currently have the 09 CBF1000 and may keep it. I do have a 1973 CB350 that I bought last year and currently restoring. The rest of the bikes in the stable are my wife's. A 2008 CBR125 and a 2007 HD 1200L Sportster. I did love my 93 VFR and would have kept it except for that buying a house thing....sigh

Congratulations and welcome. I can't wait to read about your first impressions of the new VFR. April seems a long way off though.
