As much as I love the 2008 Ducati 848's & 1098's, I think 2009 will be the year for me to buy my first brand new bike. I have put on over 12,000 miles on the VFR in the last 12 months and the #1 reason why it has been so enjoyable is the VFR's egro's, even though I live for fast paced twisty's, I'm at that age where comfort plays a huge part of what I ride.

I am so hoping 2009 will offer a torquey twin or V4 with VFR type egro's with decent suspension & brakes and HP ranging from 125-160 and weigh 450 lbs wet, Don't get me wrong because I love my bike and I always said it would take a special bike to make me switch, I'm hoping the 2009 VFR 1000 will be that bike. With all the middleweight and V4 rumors going around I'm thinking 2009 will be a exciting year for motorcycles...

you've just got your bike dialed in to your style. I think you'd be let down by most stock offerings, but it's worth a try...

I'm not sure I'd buy the first year offering.. Usually the 2 year rule applies.
My 800 is more than enough for me now but the thought of a vfr1000 is.. well that would be sick

Sure would be neat if Honda did jump up to the plate with an all new VFR sportbike, take a look at the 1000rr, Honda is either nuts or bravely going places other manufactures won't dare, we'll see if this is an Edsel, just hope this is just the beginning of something cool later on.
