I am very pleased to announce the completion of the 2009 VFRworld Calendar. I just received my test copy in the mail, and my friends, it is stunning this year. We also set a record for number of photo submissions - a whopping 246 photos were uploaded!

As with every year, we were only able to select 13 photos for the final calendar, and it was an extremely difficult decision. A lot of great pictures didn't make the cut, but I want to thank everyone who took the time to submit photos. That's what makes this calendar so great, it was created by you, the VFRworld community.

You can find the 2009 VFRworld Calendar available in the Store, just click on:

Marketplace -> VFRworld Store -> VFRworld Logo Merchandise

Remember, proceeds from the calendar help support VFRworld - thanks again to everyone who contributed to the calendar this year, and congratulations to the members whose photos were selected!

yeah, I think it turned out really good. there were some pics that we wanted to use that got eliminated for one reason or another but we still got some really good ones. I think this is the best calendar yet. I hope next year we get even more submissions from multiple generations...

    Jay,

Isnt that two front covers in a row now for you? Well done, and get some rest. I am sure there have been many sleepless nights for the past 6 weeks.

Nice looking calendar. But would it have been so difficult putting the phases of the moon on it. I like to take my VFR (and my KLR) on camping trips, and it's very helpful to know where the moon is going to be before I plan a trip!

I'll probably order one anyway to use as a spare.

I ordered mine on 11/24; they shipped on 11/26 and took about four days to get here. Did you get a confirmation of your order?

I just want to say that I think February is a particularly beautiful month, and that if you haven't gotten your calendar by now you are truly a loser! Not that I'm biased or anything.

    December cracks me up!

I guess Santa has been saving. I'll write my wish list now and hope for the best.
