Anybody seen the Cycle World article of the Honda V4 concept bike unveiled at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne?

Hubless wheels? Wonder how that would work?
Strange exercise in styling!

 

Sometimes I think the artists that come up with these have never spent a minute on a real motorcycle. That is, of course, my humble and slightly conservative opinion.

 

that whole hubless wheel thing throws me everytime I look at it. I can't wrap my head around the idea. Anyone care to explain? Bike looks really cool though.

It looks like it would be awesome in a straight line.

 

I just caught this for the first time... I like the way this bike looks sooo much more than the new superScooter clutchless bike thing... but it is too conceptual to be of much interest to me. They also forgot the blue in the design ;-)
