I've had my new VFR since last July but thought I'd post it. I had a red 2004 VFR for a couple years but always had problems with screws falling out...? I decided it would be a smart idea to locktite all of the screws... Little did I know it would shatter ABS plastic! So I sold the bike and got the one I've always wanted...The 25th anniversary edition. It had 2,800 miles on it...[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Pretty setting, and of course pretty bike. I'm fond of white wheels on the rwb model (I'm biased too) but given your in Alaska you'd probably spend way more time cleaning them than I do here in SoCal. Congrats on your not so new acquisition.

Looks pretty darn sweet there Chester......Looks stock, love the black frame and paint of course.
Keep the shiny side up as they like to take horizontal naps if your not careful. Things almost new, ride, ride and alittle more.
    :)

I had a GSXR-600 with white wheels one time and won't ever own another bike with them. They show dirt/get dirty way to fast

Yea it's all stock. I'm probably going to leave it that way. I consider this a collectors addition. Lol I also got it with the factory matching hard bags[IMG]

Congratulations finding one with such low miles. Back in 2002, I was thinking about moving to the 6th Gen, but wasn't motivated to pull the trigger until the RWB color scheme came out in 2007. I had to go with the white rims though. They are more maintenance, but by now I know how to tackle them and can have them cleaned up in no time.

I would have those white rims in a heartbeat if anyone wants to get rid of a set?

I have a set of stock rims for the 2007 bike. I put in eight spoke her on mine powder coated in white so the stock ones are available with tires if you're interested. You could powder coat them white for about $100 each, ImageUploadedByTapatalk1427500689.935501.jpg
