    Man its been a looooong winter. Well, we are finally here, time to pick up the new bike! I am going up Friday with trailer and cash in hand. I have a couple of quick questions that I have gathered from reading posts on here for the past 6 months.

    What can I expect to get with the bike? I know it has the rear cover that goes on the seat, and it has the rear handles installed. I have read that it comes with plugs to remove the handles? Anything else?

    How about an extended warranty? What prices are you seeing? I saw a 4 yr on ebay for $407. I have seen threads areound about the best places to buy parts and accessories but of course now that I am ready to go, I cant find them.

    I am pretty excited about this, but I am also looking at potential problems. The dealership switched owners since I bought the bike, and the new owner wasn't nearly excited about the deal I made as the last owner (I am guessing he did it to try and raise some quick cash). After cash and trade, I will have a total of about $8400 into it. Anyhow, I got a call about 2 months ago and the new owner (such a lovely woman :crazy:) was giving me a hard time about leaving it there for the winter and making an unreasonable deal. After a delightful conversation about legality of contracts and business ethics, and pointing out on the contract (which I just happen to have right here lol) that there is nothing validating the reason she wanted to negate the deal..... I now own a brand new RWB 2007 VFR 800. I just want to know what I am supposed to get with the bike as I am pretty sure I am not going to recieve VIP treatment when I get there (it will probably be sitting out by the curb with an envelope duct taped to it).:thumbsup:

    Love the forum, appreciate everything I have learned, and look forward to posting when I get it home!

    You should walk out of there with:
    -> rear seat cowl
    -> toolkit (under the seat) - there's not much there, mainly the chain adjuster
    -> grab rails (already installed)
    -> blue fairing insert covers for the grab rails (when not installed)
    -> owner's manual
    -> title

    That about covers it. Congratulations on your purchase.
