Is there anyone in Ontario that has a set of 2007 25th edition red white and blue fairings in excellent condition? I had a bit of accident drilling out a fairing bolt that stripped on the left lower cowl. The drill accidentally touched the fairing and took off the paint around the bolt hole.

If not anyone know of a good set of aftermarkets that will match my tank color wise pretty well?

Failing that anyone know a good body shop in the GTA that would redo my fairings for me?

I wish I had a set to offer you but they are rare as hens teeth on the used market. I watch E-bay constantly just in case any good stuff comes up. Unfortunately I'm way up here in Ottawa so I can't help with the body shop reference either.

Crap, I'm just no darn help at all! I just hated to see a post go unanswered on the forum so hopefully this will get you back at your key board and you can tell us what you did to get her fixed up.

Man, I don't think you need to replace the whole fairing. If the plastic is really chewed up, grab some plastex and mold it smooth then paint. If it is just boogered up a little bit, sand smooth and touch up paint.

Picture would be better so that you can get better advise too.

Holy crap, that's all you did & you're looking for replacements :biggrin-new: ... hell, my RWB has been low-sided to the left & dropped off a loading ramp to the right, both side fairings are dinged up real good :eek:hwell:, you do ride the girl & not just display her, right? ...

Ok, I'm no help either, I looked into replacing my damaged parts & got no where at the time, I hope you have better luck ... :boobies7: b/c I like 'em ...
