I actually like the RED/WHITE/BLUE color... but then again, I'm old enough to remember when a lot of Honda's were R/W/B.

I absolutely LOVE that red. If anyone buys a new VFR but gets that color, or can only get that color but really wants black I just got my black 06 a few weeks ago and will be up for swapping plastics and such.

It's either that or me spending 2k to change colors :)

I usually like the retro stuff, but for some reason it just doesn't look right on the 6th gen. That red sure is nice though.

Don't mind the old Rothmans Racing colours with black wheels, brings up memories of the Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan days of Honda...

I'm like you tink, I remember the original Interceptors and the color scheme. I like the R/W/B scheme. I thought of getting mine painted like that over the winter, but am not real sure it would look good on a 93. The red is a cool looking color too, and I am not big on red.

John, don't forget Fast Freddie Spencer!! :thumb:

I like the lines of the graphics on the RWB bike, but not the RWB colors...not that I'm unpatriotic or anything....heh...although, it does remind me of my trusty old RWB '86 Ninja 600R :)

I like! Nice recall on the history without going old tech.

Too bad my Schwantz replica Arai from 1986 is falling apart in a closet. It would look pretty swanky with that retro interceptor paint job.

The '95 is going to have to do though..... Damn wife and kid.

I'm also a big fan of the R/W/B paint, but it doesn't quite go with the oragami body style. RWB looks better on the 1st and 2nd gen bikes. My vote is for the new screamin red. :thumb:

I like it. I think it's odd seeing it on a 6th gen bike, but it'll probably grow on me more. It usually takes me a bit to grow to like new styles. I'm still waiting for the front view of the 6th gen to grow on me.... :) Wonder

    I love the retro color.

I was forced into a paint job not long ago and that is a color scheme I considered, until the painter explained how much more that would cost than the original red.

I want the R/W/B bike so bad I can taste it..... It tastes a little metalic BTW.... But seriously I think I like it so much cause I'm currently riding a 1st Gen bike with the same color scheme....

I wouldn't be ashamed of one in My garage. The body lines flow really good with the RW&B. It just needs the alum. frame shine back not black.

same here .... Just I would like to see it say "Interceptor" on the side like the older ones. I have a Vf1000F RW&b That i ride whenever I can. and I think it would look better with Dual pipes back down by the lower arm like they used to have them.. made 'em look slick

Brilliant rider if slightly before my time, was a Big K fan then so followed Steddie Eddie Lawson's & his fantastic Green Z1000R as a spotty teen in those days.

Wayne Gardner transformed me into a Honda fan.

I like the rwb but I will have to agree with everyone else needs the interceptor badging, what about bringing back the vfr1000. bike loks to good to be a 750. If it was in a 1000 I would buy it.
