New member here - coming from Kawasakis.

I just picked up a 06 VFR with alittle over 10,000 miles for $4000.
It has heli-bars and two brand new tires too - less than 500 miles on them.
The bike seems to be well taken care of and in great shape.

My prior bike was a 97 Kawi ZX6E - so this bike definitely feels like I leaped forward into modern motorcycling. LOL
I hope to get many smiles in the miles I plan on putting on her!

'06 with 10k and Helibars for $4k sounds like a pretty decent deal, and no bonus road rash either.

put sliders on it right away if you ride like some of these guys-me include. Two drops-one using a boot for a slider-broke the lever and bike feeler:jaw::clap2::pop2: and one with a slider-nothing happened at all. I think you got the best vfr except for the over priced 2014. I buy that one for $4500 too in a few years. My 2006 had 4600 and now about 5700-I put a 1,000 miles on it so far-not much really. Go though the bike change the fork oil-ect. Mine even had the original -dead battery.
