There are three rubber drain hoses under the bike. The front one seems to be for gas tank overflow, right? Anyone know what the other two are for?

    Thanks

    The three hoses are
    1. fuel tank air vent hose
    2. radiator reserve tank breather hose
    3. fuel tank overflow hose.

Do you have a service manual? You need one.

Thanks HW. I have a copy of the manual that's posted on this site but it's for the 02 and the PDF isn't searchable. I couldn't find any fuel system overflow hoses.

Wish I knew where to find an 06 service manual.

I just brought my new baby home today through snow flurries and 7 hours of trailering - a Black 06 VFR ABS. I saw this bike in a showroom on the West Coast a few months ago and it was a revelation - angels sang.

You can get a brand new up to date workshop manual from Helm Inc. (I have one, and tried to find the address, but you can google it no problem).

    Its a great book.

Thanks. Just reading the owner's manual, I see how I can buy it from Honda.

Yeah, I think I called the number from theowners manual and ended up with Helm. I guess they look after the Honda manual orders. In any case it is a few dollars well spent. The book actually came with the insert pages to update it to the 2007 model year motorcycles.
