    Hello,

Some days ago i noticed when riding, that the speedometer is not displaying the correct speed.
It shows random numbers and sometimes displays 0.
What can be this problem and what solutions might i try?

    Thanks in advance.

I believe that it is the same as the 98'-01' models. Check the speedometer pickup that fits like a socket over the front sprocket nut. It is plastic and may be worn and slipping.

Absolutely agree with Joe, if the socket is not fitted correctly over the nut the nut gets shoved back on its shaft and only makes intermittent contact with the nut. Its a very cheap and easy to replace part.

Ok i've figured it out. It was like you guys said, but it wasn't worn, the metal piece just went through the middle of the plastic socket and because of that the socket was barely making contact with the nut. I temporarily fixed it pushing the socket back to correct position, but i'll have to order a new one because this fix wont last long i think and the socket itself is damage with a hole in the middle. Thanks for all the help.
