Me and the girlfriend are doing our first 2 up ride this weekend. We did some little test already and it seemed ok, really looking forward to this. We are riding to Mt Palomar, Burrego Springs and back with my Hawk GT buddies. Tom H
Have fun and be safe, if you head out to Palomar watch out for CHP and gravel along the side also the road pretty beat up from all the ride. Ride early in the morning to avoid the crowd and popo. Borrego will be nice excellent road condition and Amazing view of the valley and the desert.
Hey Tom. Where are you located? I would join you, but I have other plans at the moment. I would highly suggest getting on the trail early, as Borrego is gonna roast your nads by 10 and later. Be sure to stop by Carlee's for a burger and beverage in Borrego Springs.
I live in Moreno Valley and we are meeting up at 8:00 in Temecula but these guys like to ride all day usually end around 4:00 pm. I figure we will be riding sweep for the group unless we can get into a good rhythm. There is some Mexican food/ice cream stand we stop at in Burrego Springs but burgers sound better. I haven't road 2 up since 1988 so this should be fun. Tom H
The ride was successful lots of fun and the girl friend liked it. So she is already looking forward to the next ride.
