[IMG] can anyone tell me what this knob looking thing is? Is the aluminum sleeve part of the can or an adapter of some sort.

[IMG] does anyone know if 2bro makes a newer style can to fit there high mount system? I tried to search but haven't found anything.
I haven't seen anything like it.

    Thanks guys

My can on my 2000 is very similar to yours, but I don't have that knob thing. I think TBR still makes cans to fit. Give 'em a call. I know that I needed to replace that rear-ward clamp, and when I called them, they hooked me up quick. (And aside from functioning better, the new clamp looks a helluva lot better).

Yes. I defiantly want new can strap. I would like to get new style oval carbon can if they make one.
    Thanks

Here might be a guess. If it turns one direction or another maybe it is some sort of decibel reducer for the pipe. My Delkevic pipe has a decibel reducer that you insert in to the end of the pipe and it deflects some of the exhaust and sound towards the baffles on the outer edge of the inside of the pipe thus reducing noise and slightly changing the tone of the exhaust. Maybe turning the knob deflects the exhaust flow slightly towards the baffle inside the pipe to make it somewhat quieter by adjusting the angle of a valve at the pipes entrance. Does the exhaust note change at all when you adjust the knob?? Looks like the pipe is easily removable, so maybe if you take the can off you can see what adjusting knob is connected to inside the pipe.
