My speedometer/odometer is not operational and after inspecting the speed sensor it appears that something is missing from the inside barrel of the sensor. I can see that the hex opening barely reaches the bolt securing the front sprocket, ( I also placed the bike on the center stand and put a black mark on the barrel and then turned the rear wheel - no movement). If someone could take a look at the attached pics and let me know if the speed sensor assembly looks right I would grateful. I've searched the internet high and low and can't find a good pic of it. The Honda OEM manual does not discuss it either. The speedo needle does "bounce" occasionally and the lcd odometer panel is lit. (I also verified the wiring harness connection is clean and connected properly).
