Hey all, I'm a '97 VFR pilot in sunny San Diego,CA. I haven't seen to many other Viffers out there to cruise with. I keep running into Gixxers(GSX-R) riders. If anyone is out in this area and wants to cruise around SD or socal let me know.

Hi eth727. I am sure there are VFR riders in your area or close by in the region. I would have to say the reason that you see more gixxers is that Viffers takes a rider who is particular about what he/she rides. Not every one can ride a Viffer . Ok so maybe they can but from what I have seen, at least in my area is that Viffers are a rare sell and while a god number are sold and the riders are out there, there are just so much more gixxers and zixxers around that the Viffers are hidden in the crowd. Take heart, we are out there.

Welcome to the club. I actually was looking for an older inline four sportbike or v-twin sportbike when I ran into my VFR. I have not regretted it since the first ride. I went riding the other day with 3 guys on sportbikes. My bike technically would be the slowest bike, but I was the second fastest rider. 2 of the bikes were late model liter bikes. The fun part was after hammering a few curves they needed to pull over and sit up straight for a while. They were done after 3 hours or so, and I was feeling like riding some more. :) BTW, I live in the central coast region so if you decide to run the PCH, give me a yell when you make it halfway.
