Almost too pretty to ride.
Went for a ride and added a video.. Sorry for the quality, taken with my lousy phone..
That bike is still stunning!!!!
I'd buy it but that would mean :
1. My wife would divorce me.
2. I'm in the UK.
Its the first one that would be expensive - lol
I tried to buy it (My wife said, "go for it"). Ultimately, he was not interested in doing a distance deal.
I guess I should say he was not interested in embracing the idea of getting paid any other way than cash in his hand and physically handing over a signed title.
I think you misunderstood me, pm sent..
Slight misunderstanding. He is a respectful, reasonable seller and sincerely wants both parties to feel totally comfortable.
Bike is still for sale.
It sure is in great shape. I have not owned a 4th gen or 6th gen, and have been looking lately. I thought about a 6th gen, but this one sure looks nice.
Older pic in post 22?
Looks like it's practicing safe mirror mounting.
Looking through this thread makes me sad about the state of my '95.
The photo in post #22 was taken in June 2020 with a better camera and lighting than the cell phone used for the ones in post #1.. The photo in post #22 better represents what the bike looks like in person..
The prices of good 4th and 5th gen VFRs can only rise in the very near future. Really, someone needs to snap-up this bike quickly or regret it when watching their prices climb. If it was in the UK, it would have sold in an instant @ the price being asked.
i had a great experience shipping my '86 FJ1200 to houston using Forward Air.
anyone here get it?
