I am getting ready to purchase Corbin saddle for my 1994 VFR. I have an option or ordering a red welt or keeping black. Any opinions? Thanks.

It's your own opinion and choice. Do you want a black seat or do you want a black seat with some red highlights? They'll both look good and no matter which one you choose, you'll wonder about the other one. It's part of the decision making process.

Cool, I personally like the red welting, also FWIW I'd go a leather weave if that's an option, I've been looking for a Corbin on ebay as those are well IMO kinda pricey, reason for me is the wife wouldn't mind going on a ride if it had something in the way of back support, but trying to get both the seat and the back rest isn't all that popular, that and I'm really wanting the smuggler set up. all things said, as nice as it would be to have one, my stock seat is working dang nice for being what 10+ years old.

Gee RVFR, had I known I would have offered you the one I sold awhile back. Order the Red welt with the carbon look material and Ill send you my all black one if you dont like it :) . The other option for you RVFR is to add the GIVI luggage as I did and the rear case is a good back rest.

Its all Givi set up with there wingrack II. The rack went on no problems but had to unrivet the corbin material a bit in the back and grind down the seat fiberglass to go over the Givi brackets so it would latch right. I then took one of my spare cowls and carefully cut out the notches to go around the brackets too. The cases have a Triumph name tag as I bought them off ebay. It was a kit for a Triumph with the 3 bags set up but it was new and the price was right.
I love having the hard bags on it, makes it really nice to carry and store your stuff.
