I recently purchased a lightly used 1994 VFR750F. Everything runs great, but recently I've had problems with my headlights. They don't run. Initially I thought maybe I had blown a fuse somehow, but all my fuses were good. So I took the front Cowl off and the headlight relays seemed bad. I replaced those, and afterward the headlights only work occasionally, and even then only the High Beams. Is there another fix somewhere that I need to perform or is there a short somewhere in my wiring harness? I've checked the lamps, they work fine, and when hotwired the whole assembly runs, but I just don't know where else to look Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
look at your starter push button since contacts inside are used to switch headlights OFF while starter is running. contacts can break, burn, or come unsoldered.
