8) Hello, about two months ago I purchased a 1993 VFR. Bike has approx 9,400 mi. on it. When I start the bike (cold) it has a valve ticking noise . It goes away in 90 sec. Valve service should be done, but is big $$$. I use 10w-40 spectro. Is it ok to ride it for 1000 mi. or so? I had mixed reviews on this. Any thoughts. Thanks.
