I have a 1991 VFR750 and just bought a 1994 VFR750. Would like to know what parts if any will interchange. Might be easier to just tell me what Honda Changed between the two years?

main frame, engine mount points, rear shock mount, front plastics (obviously), and seat were all changed.

electrics, some engine components, forks, wheels, rear plastics and sub frame should all be interchangeable. The lighter exhaust header on the 4th gen and the integrated turn signals from the fourth gen would be nice swaps.

    Seat

So a Corbin Seat for a 1994 Will not fit on a 1991. That is the one thing I wanted to change!

The 3rd gen seat wraps around the tank and 4th does not. Maybe they will swap. Looks like I was wrong and there is some difference in the tail plastics. Guess I'll just go back and lay by my dish.

Maybe a vid or 40 or so pix or a 5000 word essay of how to figure out if the seats fit would be a good idea. I am trying to think of an easier way. ;)

From what I've read elsewhere, it seems you can swap everything forward of the rear subframe between the two bikes, but given how different the frames are once they get to that point, the rest would involve serious modification.

I can see that some have not taken my suggestion seriously and are scoffing. The first steps in checking seat fitment would be IMO pulling the seat cowl off that 91. Trying to fit another seat on the bike with the cowl installed would be a bitch unless a person had a chop saw.

I think what billy is saying is; the best thing you can do is try and see what happens. Since you have the parts already, give it a shot and let the rest of us blow hards know what the facts are.
