1987 700 F2 - remove both tires at once?

    Plan to replace tires andhave the rims sandblasted. Looks like it would be easier to do this one tire at a time rather that both tires at the same time. As the bike would be difficult to keep jacked up. Thinking that that would be easier if I removed the exhaust, but do not want to get involved with that.

    Any comments welcome.

    Put it on the center stand or service stand, remove the rear wheel.

    Push down on the grab rail, front end will come up, put block of wood (with non abrasive padding) under some structurally sound point (which is probably easier with a helper). :unsure:
