Hi I have a 1986 vf500f with a cbr 600 f3 wheel swap and front fork swap in the works but im wondering if I could fit a 1985 interceptor 750 swing arm on the 500 so I could fit a 170 on the bike instead of a 160 or 150 width tire

So, an upgrade from 2.75 rim with a 110 tire to a 5.0 inch rim with a 160 is not enough for a VF500F? What are you thinking you're going to gain? Do you just want to spend more on tires?

I recently completed a wheel swap on a 1000R and I wish I didn't have to buy 170 tires (No room for a 180 and 5.5 rim too wide for 160).

It is not a bolt on. I happen to have a 500 frame sitting outside and a VF750F swingarm on the side of the house. Maybe I'll snap a pic on the width differences later. It would be very diminishing returns for the effort in my opinion. But people would say that about most of the shit I do too.

Okay thanks I have a 160 as well just looking to get matching tires I just wasnt sure if the swingarm would fit because if it did it would make for less machining of parts to make it work but if it's what I gotta do so be it I because anything is better then the stock 110 on there currently

The f3 that I bought for the swap had a 170 on it so I've got a 160 to put on it to do all the math
