Hello evey one! I am having the darndest time finding a petcock for my 86 VF500 interceptor. i already know that 84-85 will NOT work. My baby is probably one the the nicest ones ever. i have really dressed it up. Even has 6 LED lights and custom wiring done by me:cool: But Oh where oh where do i get a nice used petcock for less thn the $167 Honda wants? IRon Ayres can do $131, but still-- Ouch!

I was on ebay motors about an hour ago and they had 3 listed, many vf500 parts....Try looking under ( Interceptor ) you should get a listing of 310.
some will be for Police interceptor cars,,,just keep looking..Heck a guy is
even selling a stock pipe for a 99vfr800 for 15bucks because his bike was
stolen and he has no use for the pipe...

    Thanks nailer,
Yup, i did in fact do that already. Lots of great just-in-case parts for my lil-beast:smile: I really just want to ride again. Heck, I bought her from an ad that said $995. When I got there, I paid $830!! Running and all! So, I can afford to spend a little I guess. I did.

I will have her ready by the end of the month. You will be impressed. I changed the indicator lights to euro style, red striped the wheels, aftermarket horn, chrome look deer whistles, 4 red l.e.d's and two large blue ones, cowl seat, spike licence frame, digital clock with indeglo, Xenon light, supertrapps exhaust, K&N Stage 1 motor ( K&N Filter and stage 1 jet kit and K&N high flo oil filter), new tires, new NGK plugs, High zinc oil, anodized red tire valve caps, plus I noticed green gaskets around the motor, sooo, some manner of motor servicing/repair was done when I bought her= $$ I don't have to spend. Pics in about a month. I saw an accel high output coil set(a cool yellow) for $147. i don't know if it will be worth it or not, but I'm going balls out with this thing!! I want her to be the undesputed nicest moded 1986 VF500F around. I will keep her an "open" bike I think. I will also post "how I did that mod" thread. Hey, I'm no hater, just want to be the first, after that, copy all you want, we're all family here!

Yup, tried them, they have just about everything but that. I found a couple of them from a guy in Tifton Georgia STEVE'S CYCLE. Just call information and they will connect you. I paid $95. WAAAAy better that over $200 from honda. Even a Honda buddy could only go down to like $167+ tax. So I'm happy. My bike is trick. I even have a Dampner for it!! Ride safe guys. . .:peace:
