1986 VF500F Carb issues

    Hey i was wondering if anyone can tell from these pictures if these carb hoses are the right way, that short hose that comes off the plastic tubes that go between the carbs was facing out the front but was in the way of the throttle cables. and where does the short hose connect too and what is it for.     Short hose is a breather vent for the carbs, not connected to anything. There was absolutely no need to remove the air box base plate from the set of carbs !!! Guess you didn't consult the service manual, huh ?? :frown-new:
