Hi everyone I recently purchased a 1986 Honda VF500 for 400 bucks. Needless to say it needs some tlc. After a long search for a functioning petcock I am to the point where the bike was ready to start for the first time and come to find out that the carbs need cleaned which is not a big deal since my dad is a mechanic but he is looking to possibly get them rebuilt so I am wondering if anyone on here does carb work for these bikes? The cleaning itself should not be a big deal but he is worried about getting synced back up so that they run properly which is why he wants to have someone else look at them. So if anyone here does carb work or if there is any information on syncing them back up after he cleans them that would be even better.

Also if we were to clean the on our own is the gasket kit all that we would need (ebay link below)

We need some pictures. For the carbs I would go with squirrel man, he should be here soon.
    Good work good prices.
