Bike for Sale 1986 Honda VFR750 F Bay Area

1986 VFR-F $500 OBO,
The bad:
-I left it sitting for months with California gas in it and I think one of the float bowls is now stuck open, carbs just start dumping fuel from overflows when its started.
-Needs to be moved in a truck or trailer and have the carbs cleaned before it can run for a long time.
-Salvage title to due plastics damage, knocked over when parked under previous ownership.
-Rear right indicator works, but held on with blue tape (see pics)
-Windshield damage (see pics)
-Plastics are in generally poor condition and have stripes painted on one side only

The good:
-Pretty much everything else, ran excellently when parked, I had just replaced the carb float bowl seals with new rubber ones.
-relatively fresh tires, brake pads, oil etc. New Battery installed before parked.
-Bike was in daily rider condition when parked
Great bike, i just dont want to deal with taking the carbs off again and I dont have a great place to store it.
Excellent restoration project or just daily rider once fixed.
-Bike is registered Non-Op, renewal in June

Yep. That's essentially a parts bike now, with maybe a faint glowing ember of potential. It is not a $1000 bike, or even $750 (imo).

 

Fair enough, I mean 700 cash would take it. I know these last and it ran so well when it was parked I guess i thought someone would want it as a rider. If someone just wants it for parts or wants parts off of it let me know. Its just taking up space for me now I suppose.

 

Bump and price drop, if nobody with a truck or trailer wants it for parts or project ill just end up donating it.

I am actually in Montana.
I grew up in Tahoe an still have very deep roots there.
My sister has a house in Alpine Meadows and I go every spring for work at the lake.
I have a nephew right in the bay, is kinda just south of Sonoma I believe.
