1986 700 differences?

Would someone please help me understand which sub-model of 700 Interceptor I have (VIN JH2RC2609GM000364)?

For a 1986 VFR700, Bike Bandit lists:
VFR 700 F A - Interceptor
VFR 700F AC - Interceptor
VFR 700 F2 A - Interceptor
VFR700F2 AC - Interceptor

I understand the difference between 700 Interceptors, and a VF700C Magna (cruiser), or a VFR 750F A 750 (750 on the side fairings, and um, bigger displacement).

 

What gages do you have?

Round VFR700F A (AC is California)

Square VFR700F2 A

 

Round, and I don't think California air-pump sort of silliness.

 

Pretty much the major difference between 86 F and FII is the gages, the upper cowl stay (for the differnt gages) and inner fairing panels. The rest is color / finish treatments.

Now an 86-F2 and an 87-F2 look VERY similar, but are VERY different in a lot of little details.
