1985 VF700 rear seat single cowl install

This is my first VF700. I've always been big into the CB750 SOHC and I saw this and couldn't resist.

I have a 1985 VF700. It has the two grab bars that the lock mounts to when its set up for two people. My question is I'm trying to add the single seat cowl. When I remove the grab bars there's nothing to mount the lock too for the seat to click in. Am I missing a part or just slow? Any info would be great. Also on the front of the single cowl that bolts threw the seat. Are they special botls or can I use and bolt nut combo. Thanks for your help.

 

So there is no on with a Gen1 with a rear solo seat cowl?
