1985 VF500F gearing

    Hello.

    When a 1985 VF500F reaches it's top speed, is it:

    1) Not geared high enough? (RPM maxed in 6th)

    2) Out of horsepower? (Thrust is equal to drag)

    Just wondering since they seem to offer a bunch of rear sprocket gearing options for this bike. That & I don't want to have the motor turning too high at highway speed.
    I don't know because I am still waiting on the guy to get the new title so I can buy his bike.
