1985 vf500 tank swap??

    hi i am interested in making my honda vf500 into a street fighter
    i just got the engine rebiult the bike was sitting in the garage for the past 12years so i was going to paint the tank becuase it had surface rust. i opened the tank to find theres rust inside the tank. so i blasted the tank and theres a 3in crack which i could fiberglass and fix but since im make a street fighter i was wondering if a tank off a 89 cbr 600 would fit and or look ok

    it might look ok , but you'll have bolting issues..
