1985 Honda VF500 Interceptor- Just bought- VIDEO

Hey, I'm new to the motorcycle scene, I used to race dirtbikes and still ride them today, but I just bought my first street bike and made a video for you all to enjoy. 23k miles, black, needs tlc..

Here's the bike when I first bought it for $500 about 2 months ago. It is painted (hand-brushed!!) with what appeared to be LATEX WALL PAINT..




Here's after I sanded it and primed it with a rattle can (not good enough in my opinion)



And now it's getting painted by a family friend pearl white.

The Run/Stop switch doesn't work, have to figure that out.. I am ordering LED's for flushmount blinkers.

Nice work sir, good to see someone putting good effort into one. I'd like to do the same to my girls but have not found the time yet!!

 

Keep the origional parts around.....In case someones looking for a resto when ya decide to sell her.
