MY bike when i bought it had the tank off other parts off. with the tank off when i look down at the bikes carb i see 2 small tube on each pair of carbs with a nipple in the middle like it would be were a fuel line connected. but i followed the fuel line and it went from tank to pump and from pump 1 line goes into a diagnol bar that connects the carbs diagonal with fuel but i dont understand whatare those 2 small tubes that connect each pair of carbs it is located towards the top of the carb. please help i want to start it. should i leave it like it is. what are those 2 small plasctic tubes with nipple in the middle that connect each pair of carbs.

The tubes that seem to go in a straight line across the carbs are fuel lines and the top lines are for overflow lines.

Actually they are bowl vents. Those two nipples will line up with two holes in the metal airbox base (unless this bike has had the service bulletin performed on it).
