Only took me 36 years, but I finally got one. Only 16K on her, and seems to have had it's recalls etc done to it. Strong engine, nice and quiet

Welcome to the best group of VF/VFR owners on the planet! 16K? WOW! She has only just started to seat the rings.

Have you looked down into the tank to see if you have any rust? This bike has been sitting unridden for much of it's life, and rust in the tank can be a major pain if you run the engine before cleaning the rust out. Ownership comes with the job of maintenence, and many times the new owner has to chatch up on things that have lapsed.
