1983 750 I need you help again

I need your help again. Is this worth it. Hasn't run in 2 years and needs some tires.

the bike is in decent condition, and the guy just seems to want to unload it (for video games nonetheless) I dont know what "put carbs back together" means, but if the carbs are in pieces, a replacement set may be in order. Carbs (if you can find them) are about $150-200 a set, and new tires are about $200 a set as well. So assuming the worst case you could prob get for $750-$900...

however, I noticed at the end of the ad he is looking for project bikes in trade. If this guy is a project bike flipper, you should ask yourself what is wrong with this that he couldn't fix (the carbs off may be a clue) and what else he may have molested... food for thought

if you are mechanically inclined may be worth a roll for $750 ... here is a CL search for '83s

$400......bike not running......you to assume repairs.......no blue sky to be given for such a deal.$400. Let him sit on it for a while.....400 is fair.

 

And from the listing I can tell he took the manifold off the carbs and broke the tubes and lost all the springs and the carbs a f'n mess.
