FYI - hand the big one down on my 07 vtec last month , 990 english pounds for the service, fluids, filter, new road pilot2's front and back , spark plugs and pads , this is with a 10% discount as well. :frown:

very painful , but glad its out of the way , now can get on and ride, o and had a new battery fitted under warranty a week later as the heated grips (honda's none battery draining model) kept draining it) ..

fyi around 15000 the bike ran like a dog big flat spot around 4000 , similiar to the one just before the vtec kicks in, but lasted to around 5000 which was a huge pain around town, espically when commin of the gas it felt like you where hitting a mud pool the engine breaking was that fierce.

but all is fine and well now and it is running sweat as.. can chase down those litre sports bikes and kick the 600 brigrades ass. again .:thumbsup:

although i may change to a new blade have rode it a few times and its awsome makes the viffer feel like a bus with all the handling of a water bed on ice, also rode the RR:wink: yes is smaller and better handling but performance wise is only about 10% better than the viffer , i think a decent rider on the viffer can take the 600 boys easlly.:ninja:

CHEERS ENJOY YOUR VIFFERS THEY ARE GGRRREEEAAATTTT BIKES

When they check your valves were they still in spec? or did they have to adjust them?

Just had the 16k done. I trust the guy that did my bike, and he said they were well within spec. My guy says he has seen viffers go to 48K before needing adjustment.

Same here on not hearing a single 16k service that needed to adjust valves. I've got ~21k on mine now, and I figure I'll have it serviced after a 4-5k trip I'll be taking shortly. No hurry though.
