The owner Manuel says I should use 10w30 but I have leftover 10w40 oil. Could I use it to fill up my oil as it is very low.

As long as they are both the same type I.e. Synthetic or "Dino" it shouldn't be an issue.

They used motul 5100 semi-synthetic. I have gn4 10w40 is it okay if I add it in.

I would not mix them. New bike, I'd add the Motul. Or drain it and run the Honda oil 100%.

I wouldn't play around with mixing oils on a new bike. I'm no expert on oil but just saying.

I used Motul almost exclusively from day one with the bike up until about a year and half ago when I changed to Rotella T6 full synthetic. Hell, I have 189,000 km on the bike so I think I can risk the change. Now I use the same oil for my bike, my diesel truck, and my wife's 2011 Civic. I don't have to keep copious different bottles of oil around.

Bike isn't brand brand new it had 5300km when I bought it it has 5500km now. Once I get an oil change done should I keep using gn4 10w40 or go full synthetic.

Thats 100% up to you but I think most people will recommend full synthetic. 0w or 5w will get oil up to the top of the motor faster when the oil is cold and the choice of 30 weight or 40 weight is a hotly debated topic but either will work.

My current oil is Motul 300V Factory Line 5W30.

What oil to use is a topic where the opinions are as many as bike owners.

I used Motul Semi Synthetic for years and I have to say, it was a good oil. I mean I have the miles to prove it. But damned, it is expensive. Many here have claimed that Rotella is as good as any. A Shell product, readily available at very cheap prices from any automotive supply store including Walmart of all places. You have to be prepared to be seen in Walmart though unless you can convince your mom to go get it for you.

I live on the west coast here in Canucistan. I have been using Rotella T6 5W40 Full Synthetic for well over 2 years now and given the high mileage on my bike, there is no issues detected. In those two years, there was two extensive rides, one 8000 + miles and one 5000+ miles. No oil related issues. Burned out two Stators but can't in all honesty blame the oil for that.

If you want a clear understanding of what the number on the oil's weight mean, google it. An explanation is easy to find and easy to understand. You can apply what you read to the type of riding you do and the climate you are in.

BTW, just where are you anyways. Canada is a few miles wide.
