    Hi all,

Just beginning to notice this, my 07' is acting a little sluggish at low end, under 3,000 rpm it seems. The air filter's a little on the dirty side, that will be replaced soon, but on take off, the bike seems like it wants to stall (even though it never does). Also, sometimes in idle, the engine idle will tweak a little with almost a rod-knock sound, but then after a little it stops and sounds fine... To the best of my knowledge, everything is fine, oil changed yesterday and no valve chatter. Any ideas? Bikes got 6k on the clock.

    Thanks in advance!

I had the exact same circumstance but only once. It happened right after I removed my O2 sensors and went for my first ride. It never happened again and my sensors are still disconnected, 2 yrs now. If your air cleaner is visibly dirty than maybe try changing it, if it doesn't help, you have for when you really need to change it. You can check your plugs as well but being that you only have 6000ml on her idunno. You can disconnect the O2 sensors and try it out. You will get a Fi light but that's no big deal for a test ride. If it fixes it then maybe your sensor/s was going. You should get a Fi warning light though if one of them is bad. There is a diagnostic procedure for troubleshooting your Fi system, sometimes it will log a fault without it flashing in your cluster. It's in the manual if you have one, if not it can be downloaded.
