I've got a strange problem, hope someone can give me some insight here.
I was taking all my farkles off my 03 to put on my RWB yesterday , everything was going so smooth(shoulda known). Anyway, I took off my Scorpion exhaust and put the stocker back on, fire it up open for about 10 seconds just to see what it sounded like , stalled at idle, no biggie, not ebnough backpressure I figured. Finished reinstalling the pipes and now it won't start, kicks over, all the electronics work, pump primes, seems like there's no spark.
I check the 2 ,30 amp fuses under the seat, all good, charged the battery all the way up, nada. I'm wondering if this is coincidence or did I hurt something during that brief fire up. Thought maybe the lean angle sensor is being goofy, but I'm definitely not an electronic genius. Any ideas ??

Air/fuel/spark.....I have a 5th gen, but you should have more fuses than two 30amps under the seat to check. Have you pulled a spark plug to check for spark yet? If so, maybe the old ECM is shot or a bad connection.

This is silly I know, but did you make sure the kill switch is in the "run" position?

Well, broke down and took it to the stealer, their solution, a new set of plugs! Now I'm no expert, pervert maybe, but how can a bike go from running, stop, change slip-ons, to not running! Wierd, I've got a feeling maybe they goofed up when they put in the new harness and were simply covering their tracks. On the plus side , they didn't charge me for anything but the plugs, $28 bux each though.
