Just finished the 02 bypass mod late yesterday afternoon, the one with the two 330 ohm resistors. What a difference!!!! Took the bike out this morn and could tell immediately for the better. I completed the PAIR valve block mod last weekend and could tell a bit of difference when the VTEC kicked in. But today, wow! The bike now responds like a motorcycle should. There was no hesitation/stumbling as I rolled on the throttle from any gear and the transition into the VTEC was smoothed out even more. Redlining from 3rd thru 6th was just great, the bike just churned on, lots of power and acceleration. Next project will be to gut the cat. I'm a welder in a custom shop and we have all the necessary tools to do the job plus we have a MIG welder set up for stainless steel. However, I'm going to let it cool off first. The heat index is supposed be around 110 tomorrow and our shop will hit 100, easy. We all have fans but dam, 100 degree air is still 100 degree air! I'll probably try and gut the cat sometime in Oct. when the temp gets down to a more bone chilling 80/90 degrees.
