Ok. I've had my '01 for around 4 weeks now and never had a problem with it. I'm out of town and just now filled the tank up two nights ago. Ran fine all the way up here and around town. Ran fine the night I filled the tank up. Started for work the next morning, let her warm up to 120degrees. Got couple miles down the road and she didn't want to stay alive. It would just keep dying when I let off the gas.

Then it would start running bad until 5k rpm's. I checked for codes with shortening out the "checker" and it would just flash once every 3 seconds. It flashes way over 24 (isnt that the highest code?).

I ran her last night and she started ok, I let her warm up and then took off down the street. Ran fine other than the idle has dropped to around 800rpm's.

    Any ideas???

Maybe you got some bad gas? Check the fuel filter, drain the tank to use in your lawnmower and get some gas from a different gas station.

I put some 91 in from a Conoco station with some Sea Foam and ran fine last night.

Follow the fuel line from under the tank. It'll look like a PCV Valve on a car. I put a clear Mr. Gasket filter on mine (that way you can check it instead of replacing it). Your fuel/reserve shut off might be clogged up also. check for rust in the tank, dirt in the air filter... It's usually one of three things: air, fuel, or fire.

Sounds like bad fuel or as mentioned previously fuel filter blocked or maybe a Pair Valve has stuck open and needs cleaning.

I drained the tank and put in some 91 from a Conoco station, also added some Sea Foam. Seems to be doing fine now.
