Just purchased a new PCIII, not installed. Just installed a K&N air filter and the Erion Racing slip-on. At approx. 3750 rpm's, major flat-spot(almost jerking
and cutting out) that goes away above 4000 rpm's. Is my ECU trying to compensate for mods? Premium fuel needed? Perhaps a trip to dealer mechanic BEFORE addition of custom-dyno-mapped PCIII??? Thanks All!

With an air filter that flows more air and an exhaust system that is freerer
flowing I would be willing to bet that your bike is running way lean. eddie

Where you at? You need to go find a Dyno with some one that knows the in's and outs of those PC. Once set up there's a big difference, just ask RW. Here in WA. I'd say get it to Brothers asap, but I'm willing to bet your not even close? Or you may have to down load the map the fits what you have from the inter net site. But having it set up on the Dyno is the only true way of knowing whats going on.
