‘85 vf700f - streetfighter project- trying to find/modify gauges

    i have an ‘85 vf700f interceptor and i have taken off the fairing and want to replace the gauges from the stock, but can’t find any straight up replacements. The ‘84-‘85 sabre or magma is the look i want, but one the connections seems slightly different (different 4 prong pattern).[​IMG] Could this connection be modified by splicing and reattaching the connector from my bikes gauges? vf700f formation

    does anyone have experience with modifying the gauges or with an alternative approach that has worked?

    what about if i swap out the wiring harness to match the gauges?

    You need to contact Rayman (V4Hondabbs member). He is working wonders with a 3D printer and LED digital displays set in original, but updated, gauges. I think the first set he perfected was for your bike.
